And Speaking of Other Shoes Dropping…

Last month I posted here on ADP’s report that businesses with fewer than 50 employees added 28,000 new jobs during the month of September. That was a nice piece of good news that stood out among a lot of bad news.

But I just got en email from ADP about this month’s report: 25,000 jobs lost in October from the same group of companies.

Service companies added 11,000 small business jobs, while goods-producing companies dropped 36,000 jobs.

That’s in the monthly ADP Small Business Report.
